Hey everyone, it’s Toxin! It’s been a long time since I last did power rankings, but I wanted to give a go again here in BOL. I’ve been in the scene for years now, so a lot of names and faces are familiar enough to me to give a decent ranking of the players and teams competing. Let me know what you guys think about this format by either DMing me or sending a message in general chat to seoultoxin. Thanks!

Predictions:

CB Impulse 2-0 CB Phreaks

FF Squires 2-0 FF Mercenaries

Nefarious Demons 2-1 OSG Tactical Freeze

Jolly Rogers Ghost Crew 2-0 Hyperion White Rabbit

TD Harmony 2-1 Glacial Void

Team Rankings:

10) Glacial Void

To be completely honest straight out of the gate, Glacial Void is a team that finds themselves in last for no other reason but their name. For years now, the lowest tier of competition, in this case the Gold division, has seen countless teams with “Glacial” in front of them. Every single version of those rosters, with the exception of one outlier, has finished at the bottom. Most of them didn’t even finish the season out. As a result and until the cycle can finally be broken for good, I have this new roster in tenth, at least to start. There are a lot of unfamiliar faces on the roster, which can be a blessing (no prior scouting other than Op.gg) or a curse (doesn’t have the competitive experience to match up to the other teams). That being said, there are some solid points on this team. Bear is a player that I believe has been around the scene for a bit now, and Jel looks to be the standout jungler that can carry this team to success. They play my TD Harmony in Week 1, so I promise I’ll be able to give a better idea of this team’s power level in the next ranking.

9) Fool’s Five Mercenaries

FFM is a team that seems to be living up to their namesake of being mercenaries. At the time of writing this article, they don’t currently have a listed starting roster. They have three players listed (top lane, jungle, and mid) then a fourth player listed as a sub that is assumedly their adc. The final player on the roster is HEXZ, who is listed as a sub and is known for their play as a jungler. I’m not quite sure who is going to end up on support duty, and the uncertainty is why I have this roster here in ninth. What I will say is that HEXZ recently played in Titan Gladiator League on the team that finished first in their division, and Im Destro is a high win rate Platinum player. These two combined could definitely form the core of a winning roster.

8) Fool’s Five Squires

Putting both Fool’s Five teams back to back in the bottom of the rankings does look a little bit personal, but I swear that’s not the case. As an org, Fool’s Five has been traditionally an org focused on their platinum+ rosters. As far as I’m aware, this is their first venture into the Gold scene, so a lot of these players are completely unknown. By extension, the only thing I have to go off of is their Op.ggs, which doesn’t allow me to favorably look at players that are currently iron and bronze. The reason I have them above their sister team is solely due to the presence of GoogleMops, a player that has turned water to wine in the past for teams. I think if they have the full backing of their org and can get coached up during the split, the FF teams have some of the highest ceilings in the league. Until I can gather more info, I’m not really able to accurately place them higher than this.

7) Nefarious Demons

Nefarious Demons have existed for a while now, albeit with a different name each time. Regardless of what their name is, they have some players that stand out. VampiricNarwhal has been a MVP caliber ADC once upon a time, and TRASHY has ranked out to Platinum 3 in the past. What gives me pause is that this team can have very high variance. Multiple players on the team have been known to position swap to other lanes, which if done during a season can throw out all the prior practice put in. If they lock in, this team can easily shoot up the rankings but for now I have them here.

6) OSG Tactical Freeze

Another extremely familiar team is OSG Tactical Freeze, who competed together in the LXC Arbiter division this winter. Although they finished 5th out of 5 teams, this team isn’t exactly a pushover. Billybuthole is a standout mid laner that's reunited with his jungler Materium to contest for the best mid/jungle duo in the league. And if they don’t work out, they have OSG Novokaine and M8Tricks as subs that could come in and blow the competition out of the water. Novokaine in particular has been a jungler that has done exceptionally well in BOL gold before. I do have them slightly ahead of ND because both versions of this roster (OSG and Tactical Freeze) performed better than the last time ND competed as a team. But they are only in sixth due to their poor finish in the LXC.

5) CB Phreaks

After taking about a year off of regular activity, CB is back again to run BOL compete for the championship in BOL Gold. Historically they have had multiple top teams, and I think this year will be the same. Of their two teams though, CB Phreaks is clearly the neglected middle child. I know a lot of these players extremely well (all of them participated in TD tryouts in 2025) and I can tell you right now that AlphaSairou is a pop-off adc that can carry. Couple that with Revan in the bot lane and you know they will be cooking with some heat. The question marks come in the form of Typhoon and TheDean0, both of which are autofilled from what they are traditionally known for. The former is a mid laner that is seemingly giving the jungle a try, while the latter has been heralded as one of the best jungle talents BOL Gold has ever seen. While they have the pedigree to be higher, I think as currently constructed I have them around 5th.

4) Hyperion White Rabbit

Of all the teams to rank in BOL Gold this season, Hyperion always ends up taking the cake for the hardest to put my finger on. This seems to be a combination of the Hyperion staples from yester years and another org competing in Murk Academy called WL. WL, from what I can tell, has absolutely had top teams in Murk and should be given due respect for their performances in that league. The rest are notably players that have played for Hyperion from time to time, including their org owner Ghost VII. I have seen Ghost VII be on teams that have overperformed and won championships. I have also seen teams where they should be at the top and unfortunately underperform to the point of missing playoffs entirely. Recently, I feel as though Hyperion has been on the upswing, hence I have them up here. Extremely solid and stable players, but I don’t quite know if they have the extra oomph to push into the top 3.

3) TD Harmony

I think the fairest place to put my own team, TD Harmony, is right around here in third. This team seems to be a tale of two cities in a way. On one hand, “TD Harmony” has just won the LXC Arbiter Division and Titan Gladiator leagues this week. On the other hand, they did so with an Emerald 3 support and Frost, who is notably sitting on the sub list. Parts of those championship rosters are still here, but it will be interesting to see how the new additions fit into the equation. I’m confident that we’ll be able to mold ourselves into a top team yet again, but I’m unsure if we’ll be able to reach the peaks of the top two teams.

2) Jolly Rogers Ghost Crew

Honestly the top spot in the rankings was something I went back and forth on multiple times. Do I give it to the absolute super team out of an org that has traditionally excelled in BOL? Or do I give it to the reigning BOL Gold champions? Ultimately, I landed on Jolly Rogers in second but wouldn’t be at all surprised if they won the league. What else can I say, other than this team is the reigning BOL Gold champions? Returning from last season’s championship winning roster is Dolo xd in the support role, NasGhost in the top lane, and HardStuckBrotha in the bot lane. They already have a strong core of players to build off of, and added to that are players that have gotten experience on other teams. If there is a team that can stop CB from completely dominating the league, my best bet would be JR.

1) CB Impulse

By no surprise, CB takes the top spot in my initial rankings. This team is absolutely filthy. Riku, aka Buhrock, has been competing since before I was around, and he has stomped leagues in higher elo brackets than this. BillyWillard was last seen on a Conduit team that nearly won the LXC championship the season before this recent one and could definitely be considered the MVP jungler of that split. Not to mention they have Traumerei, aka Accel, who was yeeted from BOL Gold all of last year due to winning too much. Yeah. This team is going to be a problem. That being said, I think there is a fair bit of rust that this team needs to shake off. If they play at their peak, they will not drop a map. But I think we can see them take a bit of time to get their legs under them that could move them down the rankings.

Top 5 Player Rankings:
Top 5 Player Rankings:

The league hasn’t started yet, so take all of these rankings with a grain of salt. I expect many of these rankings to change by the end of the year, especially with the emergence of players that are new to the scene and not on a popular team (JR/CB/TD, etc.) As for right now though, these are the top dogs at each position to my knowledge.

Top:

  1. NasGhost (Jolly Rogers Ghost Crew) - The reigning champion in the top lane. I think it’s only fair for him to keep his crown heading into week 1.

  2. Complex (TD Harmony) - Just won back to back championships this week in both LXC and Titan Esports. His performance in Titan finals in particular earned him the number two spot to start.

  3. Puffin (CB Impulse) - Consistently a top performing member of whichever team he plays on. Recently saw this matchup between him and Complex in Titan a few weeks ago as well.

  4. LostHavok (Hyperion White Rabbit) - It’s been awhile since I’ve seen them play, but from what I remember LostHavok has been a consistent and stable top laner for some time now.

  5. HoodiemanX (Nefarious Demons) - I’m gonna be honest, he carried me in a solo queue game this week so he gets the nod for the final spot

Jungle:

  1. BillyWillard (CB Impulse) - Put together an All-Star performance in the last league he competed in and definitely was the better jungler in our last matchup.

  2. Toxin (TD Harmony) - Usually in the All-Star conversation when I’m playing, and this season hopefully will be no different.

  3. Jel (Glacial Void) - Op.gg looks really really good on paper, but needs to be seen if this translates to the league.

  4. TRASHY (Nefarious Demons) - Household name in the BOL scene. Took some time off due to ranking out, but now has come back to prove himself yet again.

  5. Materium (OSG Tactical Freeze) - A player with a ton of synergy with their team. Jungle a lot of the time requires you to be able to play well with your laners, and Materium has chemistry in spades.

Mid:

  1. WL Viyella (Hyperion White Rabbit) - A platinum player that is no stranger to top teams. If his team is going to thrive, it will be through him.

  2. Riku (CB Impulse) - If he plays at his peak performance, no mid laner will stand a chance. Whether or not he’s at his peak performance remains to be seen.

  3. Gragusette (TD Harmony) - Recently played on Contingent Esports Purple and was their top performing member. Unsure if this will translate on TD.

  4. BillyButthole (OSG Tactical Freeze) - The undeniable carry of OSG. We’ve seen Gragusette vs Billy in LXC, hence why he’s down here in fourth.

  5. CurryMunch3r (Fool’s Five Mercenaries) - The op.gg on this player looks strong enough to have him round out the top 5, especially with those KDAs.

ADC:

  1. HardstuckBrotha (Jolly Rogers Ghost Crew) - Reigning champion in BOL and I’ve personally seen him do some nasty things in scrims.

  2. Traumerei (CB Impulse) - Accel just knows how to win, plain and simple. May not carry every game but always knows how to destroy the nexus.

  3. 1Hand / DeeTdub (TD Harmony) - Unclear on who is starting for TD Harmony at this time. 1Hand needs to be granted SoloQ warrior status but has been consistently in at least semifinals in LXC platinum. DeeTdub just won Titan Gladiator League with the rest of Harmony. Either way, there will be a good adc here.

  4. Xiabao (Glacial Void) - Former finalist playing for PAS last season. Is consistently on top teams and is the shining light for Glacial Void.

  5. AlphaSairou (CB Phreaks) - Largely the wincon for his team and I think he will be a consistent one. Very high highs.

Support:

  1. Doloxd (Jolly Rogers Ghost Crew) - Yet again, a reigning champion of the league. The unsung hero of his team.

  2. GoogleMops (Fool’s Five Squires) - I have seen this man take random teams to championships in the past. Absolutely cannot sleep on FFS due to the sheer presence of this man.

  3. Revan (CB Phreaks) - Played with him last split in BOL on TD Wildcard and he was a large calming presence in an otherwise hectic team. Love this man.

  4. LSwordIV (CB Impulse) - I’ve seen the combo of LSword + Accel win BOL Gold multiple times. I’ve also saw Lsword not exactly carry other rosters to greatness. Definitely can move up the list in a hurry but for now will be staying in fourth.

  5. ChubbyChernobyl (Hyperion White Rabbit) - I think there are quite a few people vying for this fifth spot, but of them all I feel Chubby is the most consistent at this time.
