Cheongs BOL Plat Content

So I know I might be a bit late, but in this dry waste land of Plat content and water source is great. Let's get this rolling with some content for my BOL Plat homies. My name is Cheongseolmo and I used to be rocking with the plat scene till I went on my fraud run(Credit Yomi of SGP) to Emerald 1 and ranked out. Each will I will be giving you my predictions for each series, a recap on last week's series and my top players in each role, and maybe every once in awhile throw in some overall team power rankings

Week 2 Results:

  • TFF Misfits 0 - 2 Dorado Gaming Rho - This Dorado roster is full of players that have been in the plat scene since I started and are already established top dogs. Game 1 was an absolute stomp as BIG NEWS got his Mord and Cooper seemed to just run around the map doing Cooper things. Game 2 on paper is a little closer in kills, but Sloppy had 2 strong games to get his team the 2-0 win. For TFF Misfits this is their second loss in a row, but both weeks have been without their rostered starting mid of IQofacoconut. I see the upside of this TFF roster but it will be a long season if they keep playing without IQ and having a few players playing in off roles. Shout out to Downfall trying his best to carry on that Malphite  game.

  • Monkey Business 2 - 1 Hydro Lotus - Monkey put on the business and got a hard fought win. Here we see another team with some well known names in the plat scene on the side for Monkeys. What looked to be a difficult game 1 for Monkeys turned into a very strong 2 strong wins to keep them on the winning side of this match up. From what I am seeing and reading though Lotus was dealing with internet issues and already using an Esub for games 1 and 2 lost them all bans in game 3 when they had to bring in 1 more. Perhaps they can bounce back and their players can get off McDonalds wifi in time for matches next week.

  • SON Lero 0 - 2 HydroPump Great White - The Stream match of last week and Great White pulled out a big win……at least i think…(standings page on the website has a different record from what i see in match results.) ANYWAY Great White played a dominant top side game plan and let JayJ pop off in both of their games. White has the potential to be a playoff team if they play in form, but it is still early and anything is possible. For SON Lero it seems they struggled everywhere this week when they had signs of life last week in their 3 game series. They need to find an identity as a team and play for that because these drafts are all over the place.

  • AIE Anguish 0 - 2 Imperial Gaming - Imperial gets another 2-0 victory this week and Azurexfire might just be the MVP of the league if it ended today. Another pop off series in mid for this man, pulling out Zeri mid again and then going to a mage pick in game two. Imperial has some names that I remember from last split and they seem to have stepped up their game. This team is scary and should not be slept on by anyone in this league. AIE Anguish is another returning team but with no familiar names, and they seem to be struggling to swing up against some of the stronger teams in the league. I hope that AIE can find their style and cause some upsets in the standings and how teams have to prep for them.

  • Conduit Revelation 2 - 0 Conduit Prime - Chai, Nasian, Manveer, Raven….yeah if they lost this series I would have not stopped yapping to them. Manveer got his Swain in game 2 and manhandled his sister team with the help of Nasian’s full damage Poppy. I won’t dig into Prime to much since they played with an Esub and they are a gold team moving up so it’s never easy to play the sitters….I mean properly ranked players. I hope Prime has their intended starting roster this week to see what they actually look like with the full 5.

  • SG Proton 1 - MZRY Obsidian Vice - So I can’t lose my content creating job yet so I will just talk to Proton on the side about this series. Names to paper SG has one of the best rosters in this league but seem to be struggling to start off on the right foot, but that does not take credit away from MZRY for pulling out the win. MZRY loses only some credit for playing Sera/Senna bot but that didnt stop Wall St and Narva for combining for 24 kills in game 3 and 45 total kp with a combined 8 deaths. Game 2, imma say it, SG stop listening to Alf when he says “It's a (insert champ here) angle.” I will never forget when he made me go r1/r2 Varus/Ashe. But draft seemed to be the least of SG's problems and hopefully they will be able to bounce back this week.

  • Atomic Desperadoes 2 - 0 TFF Banana - 0/10 Renekton….yikes. This just looks like a rough series for TFFB but Atomic but the works to them not even letting it be close. Atomic just won across the map and it seemed that TFF had no chance from the loading screen. Perhaps these new kids on the block plus Bardo Jr are better then I gave them credit for at the start of the year. For TFF shout out to Chrome in game 2 on Jhin trying his best but maybe it was a little too late. TFF needs to come up with a game plan for the upcoming weeks before it’s Curtain Call for them…..please laugh.

  • Literal Monkeys Champagne 2 - 0 HydroPump Mako - 1 ban? No problem! LMC smash Mako and cause roster change panic for the side of Mako. Monkeys make light work of their opponents week and dominate them in every role on the map. Seems that they are moving in the right direction while Mako is moving in the opposite direction. Perhaps the roster changes will save their season or just cause this team to pack it up. But shout out Pwnguin for getting a ranged support in their pool.
